Lotto player scoops over €7m in jackpot draw

A Lotto player in Co Galway has become Ireland’s newest millionaire after scooping over €7 million in Wednesday night’s draw.
The player, who is the 10th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, will take home a total of €7,028,440.
They join the ranks of the nine other big winners from across the country, including five in Dublin, Louth, Wexford and two in Limerick earlier this year.
This latest win also makes the Galway player the 30th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.
The winning numbers in Wednesday’s main Lotto draw were: 7, 10, 12, 19, 21, 32, and the bonus was 9.
The National Lottery said the store location where the winning ticket was purchased will be announced on Friday.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Ruane said: “It’s been an incredible year for players with thirty National Lottery millionaires being made in 2024 so far.”
