A senior-ranking detective who took his own life was a “workaholic, perfectionist” under immense stress at work and felt he had let the Regency Hotel murder investigation down, an inquest into his death has heard.
Detective superintendent Colm Fox was found dead in his office along with his official firearm at Ballymun garda station on February 10, 2018.
