Prime Time presenter Fran McNulty marries RTÉ colleague
Miriam O’Callaghan has shared a wonderful glimpse inside the ‘special day’ of her Prime Time colleagues who got married over the weekend.
Presenter Fran McNulty tied the knot with RTÉ producer, Doireann O’Hara on Saturday, 7 December in Dublin.
The newlyweds looked ecstatic as they posed in photos shared by their close friend and co-worker Miriam, who attended the nuptials.
Fran looked handsome on the day, wearing a navy blue suit with a matching blue tie, while Doireann looked sensational in a silk wedding dress and a white furry jacket.
The blushing bride accessorised her short brunette locks with a white clip pinned to the side of her hair, how chic!
Photos, shared by Miriam to her social media page, saw the couple holding their hands up to the camera to show off their wedding bands.
Sharing a series of snaps from the day, Miriam gushed: ‘It was such a special day yesterday celebrating the wedding of the beautiful couple @franmcnulty & @dee_tv_irl — wonderful day.’
‘We are greatly missed though our former recently departed colleagues Rhona and Paul who no doubt whatsoever were watching it all from heaven.’
The mum-of-eight’s photo dump included a number of selfies alongside other guests, as well as a glimpse at one of the wedding prayers read during the ceremony.
Friends and followers took to the comment section to send messages of congratulations to the newlyweds and wish them luck on their journey ahead.
One penned: ‘Congratulations to the couple you all look amazing,’ while a second added: ‘Looks like a wonderful celebration of love and happiness.’
RTÉ star Fran has been open about how happy finding love again has made him, especially after the end of his first marriage roughly six years ago.
Speaking to RTÉ Guide earlier this year, he said: ‘Meeting Doireann is that second chance in life that you never think you’d get.’
The Longford native wasted no time and popped the question to Doireann on New Year’s Day in January on Doolough Beach in County Mayo.
