Rachel Zegler fondly remembers director Adam Somner after tragic loss of life

Rachel Zegler, who had the honour of working with Adam Somner on her debut movie the West Aspect Story in 2021, mourned his loss with a touching tribute.

Somner, who collaborated with quite a few A-list administrators equivalent to, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Steve McQueen and Paul Thomas Anderson, died on November twenty seventh from anaplastic thyroid most cancers.

The Spellbound actress took to her Instagram story as she penned a heartfelt notice for the late assistant director.

“I had the honour of creating west facet story with Adam Somner once I was seventeen years outdated,” she wrote. 

The 23-year-old additional expressed her gratitude for his assist and steering within the movie trade.

“And with a lot grace and love, he lifted me up and refused to let me stumble as I navigated the world of filmmaking. I couldn’t have been in higher arms.”

The Starvation Video games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes star remembered Somner as “the kindest, most effective and the wackiest” man as she despatched her like to his household and individuals who labored with him.

“I by no means took it without any consideration and now I’ll take it with me perpetually. Adam Somner, you legend. I miss you already,” the Snow White artist concluded the eulogy.

Somner is survived by his spouse, Carmen Ruiz de Huidobro, and two kids Olivia and Bosco.
